Last weekend, Saturday, March 15, 2025, we visited the opening weekend of the incredible KAWS exhibit at Crystal Bridges American Art Museum in Bentonville, AR. The entire place is gorgeous, well thought out, and brimming with art and culture. There was also an incredible paved, dog-friendly art walk with lots of sculptures to enjoy.
One of Travis’ long time favorite artists KAWS hosted an indoor exhibit at the museum. This artist has been creating graphic art for decades, and even collaborated with General Mills to create art for 4 of their past cereals.
many of the items on display belong to private collections, but we were blow away with the sheer volume of artwork here.
There was even an interactive video screen where you can create your own art or selfie video at the very end.
We also grabbed several items form the merchandise area, a hoodie, t-shirt, and a few magnets.
These sculptures stand 8-10 feet tall, modeled after polymer and metal dolls, originally less than ten inches, standing only tall at the most.
The museum gift shop housed some of the KAWS merchandise and there was a separate pop-up merch shop at the end of the actual exhibit too.
Travis got an awesome KAWS hoodie!
Overall we would definitely recommend visiting this awesome art exhibit and get a sense of the culture Northwest Arkansas has to offer!!
