This cooler, Fall weather has really energized me. I am cooking up a storm, and creating all sorts of of fun projects, and I cannot wait to share them with you throughout the next couple of months. Does the change in season seem to energize you as well?

To kick off this amazing holiday season, I have a one of my favorite recipes ever, and this time I added one unique ingredient that made this taste better than ever. I found fresh ingredients and lots of other staple ingredients at Walmart.

What are your favorite foods to prepare when the weather gets chilly? What sorts of foods would you never go one year without making? Feel free to share your own traditions, in the comments below.

Have you ever thought to add pasta sauce to your chili? Well, I did, and could not believe how amazing this recipe turned out! If you like a bit of a stronger tomato flavor and a chili recipe that is a bit "juicer" than usual, this is the recipe for you!

You may remember that I created a fresh and tasty summer-themed Ratatouille Recipe for Prego Farmer's Market® sauces, here, and I was so excited to have the opportunity to create a second, more Fall/Winter-themed recipe this time around. These sauces taste great and added more flavor to my chili than I ever cold have imagined. I have been a Prego Sauce fan my whole life, and love their newest line of sauces, which utilize farm-fresh ingredients that are picked at peak.

- 1/2 - 1 jar of Prego Farmers' Market® sauce (I used Classic Marinara + Roasted Garlic Here)

- 3/4 - 1 large onion, chopped

- 5 cloves garlic, chopped

- 1 - 1 1/2 packets chili seasoning

- 1 pound lean ground beef

- 1/2 pound bacon

- 3 (14.5 oz.) cans of petite diced tomatoes

- 3 varieties of canned beans. I used kidney beans, navy beans, and white beans. You can use any style of beans you like.

- Olive Oil

So, Prego® also threw a party to promote their new, flavor-rich, fresh-ingredient packed sauces. They constructed a garden in the middle of a boulevard and invited people to see what their newest products are all about. Watch the video for some major inspiration, I love it so much!

1.) In a large stock pot, simmer olive oil, half of a seasoning packet, and onions until soft. Add garlic and simmer for another 5 minutes or so, with the lid on each time.

2.) Chop bacon into bite sized pieces, and add to the stockpot. Cook 7-10 minutes until bacon is fully cooked.

3.) Add your ground beef and the rest of the seasoning packet(s) to the stockpot, abd brown beef thoroughly.

4.) Once meat is cooked, add beans, canned tomatoes, and Prego Farmers' Market® sauce. Mix well, and put your lid back on the stock pot and cook on low heat for about 30 minutes, making sure it never boils. I would imagine you could make this in a crock pot as well, and it makes the house smell absolutely amazing!

5.) Garnish with shredded cheddar, sour cream, green onions, and chopped onions, and enjoy! This is so good reheated too. Store leftovers in the stock pot the fridge, and to reheat, simply place the stock pot back onto the stove, and heat on low for about 20 minutes. Enjoy!

I found this awesome sauce and other fresh ingredients and produce at Walmart. Look at how green everything is right now! (see below). Prego Farmers' Market® Sauces use ingredients you'd find at your local farmers' market - like vine-ripened tomatoes, garlic and basil - all picked at the peak and made the way you would with olive oil, black pepper and oregano.
