Well, I hope you love these little treats I created just in time for Christmas. I love the whimsical look of these, and you can either use home made treats (which is what I did here), or even store-bought ones, to make these even easier! And, look out for more fun projects like this, I had a blast decorating these :)
.) In a large sauce pot, melt 3 Tbsp butter, then add one 10 oz. package of marshmallows. Mix until smooth and melted.
.) Mix in 6 Cups Rice Cereal, turn off burner, and mix everything together.
.) Cover a 9"x9" pan with parchment paper , and pour in the cereal mixture. Make sure it gets into the corners, and use another piece of parchment paper on top, and a flat object like a jar, to smooth the tops and press the treats into the pan.
.) Let cool a few hours and grab the parchment paper out to put the treats onto a cutting board. Using a ruler, slice 2" x 3" pieces of the treats, to create the reindeer face/body.
.) Insert a popsicle stick or wooden spoon into the tops of each pop, then lay down onto cutting board to decorate. First, add red and/or brown candy coated chocolate candies to the body with white icing. Next, add the eye candies with white icing, right above the noses.
.) Lastly, with melted chocolate or black decorator icing, draw two main lines for the antlers. Using a toothpick, draw smaller lines to make the "points" of the antlers. And, you're done!
